Story by Jessa Cast, Santa Fe New Mexican

Arbolitos at Las Estrellas, a new development perched on Santa Fe’s northwest boundary, aims to provide what many local residents are looking for –ample space minutes from downtown, with plenty of ways to enjoy nature and quiet.

The community has been developed by Arete Homes of Santa Fe, steered by owner Rob Gibbs, a third-generation builder crafting homes in Santa Fe since 1994. With 18 communities and over 1, 200 homes in his career, Gibbs has developed a reputation for building enticing, high-quality homes while maintaining a focus on professional service to his clients.

“Arbolitos is my fourth development in Las Estrellas, after Ridge Point, Piñon Ridge and The Villas,” says Gibbs. The locale, he feels, is ideal. It provides proximity to shops, restaurants and city life without sacrificing the feel of a more rural, natural setting. “This is what I call an A-plus location,” he says.

Each of the 23 lots in Arbolitos have been thoughtfully segmented to provide a variety of property sizes and shapes with arresting views no matter the location. “We try to manage the land plan to take advantage of the views of each lot. So that’s how we laid out the site,” says Gibbs.

Access to Santa Fe’s popular La Tierra trails gives avid walkers, hikers and bikers plenty of outdoor space to enjoy, without being far from works or play in town.
